A mathematical model has been built for the discrete frequency-temporal representation of signals in the form of a double series using systems of orthogonal functions. Basic properties of the derived representation have been proved and investigated.

Development of effective methods, algorithms, and signal processing devices to overcome the structural-parametric a priori uncertainty

Limitations for practical use

If the signal spectrum width coincides with the processing band, bulky two-coordinate representation becomes impractical.
